Tana-Varangerrennet becomes part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit with an 80-kilometer race in classic technique in Tana, Norway.

Tana-Varangerrennet is a long-distance skiing event, taking place in Tana, Norway, for the 5th edition as a competition and 26 years as a skiing event without timing. It now joins the Ski Classics Challengers circuit for the upcoming edition on March 23, 2024.

The Local Organizing Committee is pleased to be joining the Ski Classics Challengers circuit:

“An 80km classic race in beautiful surroundings along the Varanger fjord. It might be the northernmost ‘long’ ski race on the mainland and one of the longest races in Norway. As one of the few ski races in the World, you can see the shore (the Varanger fjord) while skiing on the tracks.”
